Environment Check

7.1 Run the Environment Check

Before the exam starts, the application checks that your device and environment are ready for proctoring. Before running the checks:

1. Sit directly in front of the camera.
2. Make sure your face is clearly visible.
3. Ensure adequate lighting.
4. Move to a quiet environment.

The application checks:

1. Face Detection.
2. Room Lighting.
3. Camera Position.
4. Microphone Access.
5. Audio Quality.
6. Quiet Environment.
7. Tap Run Checks to start the checks.

7.2 Review Check Results

A green check mark is displayed next to each check that passes.

If a check fails, a red mark is displayed with a message that your environment is not appropriate for the exam. To resolve it:

1. Review the failed check.
2. Correct the issue, for example your position or the lighting.
3. Wait for the check to pass.

When all checks are complete, the message Checks complete. Tap Continue to proceed. is displayed. Tap Continue.
