9.4.8 Manage Students Tab

On the Manage Students tab, select the students who take the exam. Only the students of the course can be assigned.

(1) Manage Exam Sections: Creates exam sections from the course students.
(2) Sections table: The course sections and exam sections with their Total Students and Assigned Students. Sections without students are displayed in red. Students who are not in a section are listed under Not Assigned To Sections.
(3) Show Students From Selected Sections: Lists the students of the selected sections.
(4) Total, Assigned To Exam: The number of students listed and the number assigned to the exam.
(5) Free, Assigned To Exam tabs: Students not yet assigned, and students assigned to the exam.
(6) Assign, Mark as Special Need Student(s), Mark as Regular Student(s): Actions for the selected students.
(7) Type Student Name, Advance Search: Find a student.
(8) Students table: The Section Type/Section, Image, Student Name, Gender, User Name, Student ID, Email and Phone of each student.

Select the Manage Students tab.

The sections of the course are listed.

Select the check box (9) of each section, for example Not Assigned To Sections.
Select Show Students From Selected Sections (3).

The students are listed on the Free tab.

Select the check box (10) of each student who takes the exam.
Select Assign (11).

The message Student(s) has been assigned successfully. appears, and Assigned To Exam (4) displays the number of assigned students.

Next, set the exam locations on the Locations tab (see section 9.4.9).

ℹ NOTE: To display the assigned students, select the Assigned To Exam tab. To remove a student from the exam, select the check box of the student, and then select Un-Assign. Use Mark as Special Need Student(s) for students who need exam accommodations, such as extra time.
