9.4.9 Locations Tab

On the المواقع tab, define where students can take the exam, and select the exam rooms with their room managers and students. The exam rooms are configured in Settings > Manage Building Blocks (see section 5.6).

1. اختر الزر المواقع tab.

The location options are displayed.

1. Under Allow Exam Access Outside University Premises (1), select نعم if students can take the exam from any location, or لا if they must take it on the university network.

For لا, an Important Notice (3) explains the restriction, and the Manage IPs button (2) is displayed.

If the students take the exam in specific exam rooms, add the rooms, and assign a room manager and the students to each room.

To add an exam room:

1. At the top right of the المواقع tab, select Add Exam Room.

1. Expand the college and building, and select the check box (1) of each exam room, for example Examination Hall A (Capacity: 40).
2. "اختر" "اختر" (2).

The message Location(s) has been saved successfully. appears. The room is listed with its type and capacity, and the links Manage Room Students, Manage Room Managers و Un-Assign Room.

To assign room managers:

1. In the row of the room, select Manage Room Managers.

الـ Exam Room Managers popup opens.

1. Under Filter By (1), select Free Managers.

The users who are not yet assigned are listed.

1. Select the check box (2) of each manager.
2. "اختر" تعيين (3).

The message Exam room manager(s) has been assigned successfully. appears.

1. "اختر" Close.

To assign students to the room:

1. In the row of the room, select Manage Room Students.

1. Select the check box (1) of each section.
2. "اختر" Show Students From Selected Sections (2).
3. Under Filter By, select Free Students.
4. Select the check box (3) of each student.
5. "اختر" تعيين (4).

The message Exam room student(s) has been assigned successfully. appears.

Next, configure the exam settings on the Exam Settings tab (see section 9.4.10).
