7.1 Run the Environment Check<\/b><\/h2>

Before the exam starts, the application checks that your device and environment are ready for proctoring. Before running the checks:<\/span><\/p>

  1. Sit directly in front of the camera.<\/span><\/li>
  2. Make sure your face is clearly visible.<\/span><\/li>
  3. Ensure adequate lighting.<\/span><\/li>
  4. Move to a quiet environment.<\/span><\/li><\/ol>

    The application checks:<\/span><\/p>

    1. Face Detection.<\/span><\/li>
    2. Room Lighting.<\/span><\/li>
    3. Camera Position.<\/span><\/li>
    4. Microphone Access.<\/span><\/li>
    5. Audio Quality.<\/span><\/li>
    6. Quiet Environment.<\/span><\/li>
    7. Tap <\/span>Run Checks<\/b> to start the checks..<\/span><\/li><\/ol>

      7.2 Review Check Results<\/b><\/h2>

      A green check mark is displayed next to each check that passes.<\/span><\/p>

      If a check fails, a red mark is displayed with a message that your environment is not appropriate for the exam. To resolve it:<\/span><\/p>
