3.1 Download the Application<\/b><\/h2>

Download the QQ Assessment Application installer for macOS from your university exam portal.<\/span><\/p>

  1. Sign in to your university exam portal in a web browser.<\/span><\/li>
  2. Select <\/span>Download Application<\/b> from the top menu.<\/span><\/li>
  3. Under <\/span>macOS<\/b>, select <\/span>Download QQSetup.pkg<\/b> or <\/span>Download QQSetup_MAC.zip<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>
  4. Wait for the download to finish. The installer is saved to your <\/span>Downloads<\/b> folder.<\/span><\/li><\/ol>

    The <\/span>macOS<\/b> tab offers separate installers for <\/span>Intel<\/b> and <\/span>Apple Silicon<\/b> Macs. To check which your Mac uses, open the <\/span>Apple<\/b> menu > <\/span>About This Mac<\/b> and look for <\/span>Chip<\/b> (Apple Silicon, for example Apple M1) or <\/span>Processor<\/b> (Intel).<\/span><\/p>

    While the file downloads, you can follow its progress in your browser\u2019s download list.<\/span><\/p>

    3.2 Install the Application<\/b><\/h2>
    1. Open <\/span>Finder<\/b> and go to your <\/span>Downloads<\/b> folder.<\/span><\/li>
    2. If you downloaded the .zip file, double-click it to extract the installer.<\/span><\/li>
    3. Double-click <\/span>QQSetup.pkg<\/b> to open the installer.<\/span><\/li>
    4. Select <\/span>Continue<\/b> on each screen, and accept the license agreement if prompted.<\/span><\/li>
    5. Select <\/span>Install<\/b>. If prompted, enter your Mac user password or use Touch ID, and then select <\/span>Install Software<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>
    6. When the message <\/span>The installation was completed successfully<\/b> is displayed, select <\/span>Close<\/b>.<\/span><\/li><\/ol>
      \u26a0 IMPORTANT: <\/b>If macOS displays a message that the installer cannot be opened, open System Settings > Privacy & Security, select Open Anyway next to the QQ message, and then open the installer again.<\/span><\/div>

      You can also right-click (or Control-click) the installer and select <\/span>Open<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>

      On the <\/span>Select a Destination<\/b> screen, select <\/span>Install for all users of this computer<\/b>, and then select <\/span>Continue<\/b>. On the <\/span>Installation Type<\/b> screen, select <\/span>Install<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>

      3.3 Launch the Application<\/b><\/h2>
      1. Open the <\/span>Applications<\/b> folder in Finder, or open <\/span>Launchpad<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>
      2. Select <\/span>QQ<\/b> to open the application.<\/span><\/li>
      3. Wait for the application to load.<\/span><\/li><\/ol>

        The university selection screen is displayed.<\/span><\/p>

        3.4 Allow Camera and Microphone Access<\/b><\/h2>

        The first time the application uses the camera or microphone, macOS asks for permission.<\/span><\/p>

        1. When QQ requests camera access, select <\/span>Allow<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>
        2. When QQ requests microphone access, select <\/span>Allow<\/b>.<\/span><\/li><\/ol>

          If you accidentally select <\/span>Don\u2019t Allow<\/b>, open <\/span>System Preferences <\/b>> <\/span>Privacy & Security<\/b> > <\/span>Privacy Tab,<\/b> select <\/span>Camera<\/b> or <\/span>Microphone<\/b>, and enable access for <\/span>QQ<\/b>. Restart the application after changing these settings.<\/span><\/p>

          3.5 Update the Application<\/b><\/h2>

          When a new application version becomes available, an update window displays automatically on launch. Follow these steps to download and install the appropriate update package for your Mac:<\/span><\/p>

          1. Download the Update:<\/b> Select the download link that matches your Mac’s processor type.<\/span>
